2.5.5.1 The Instrument Detection Limit for each element, in each heavy metal acid
matrix, must be run annually or whenever instrument is moved or undergoes
optics or major repair.

2.5.5.2 Create a calibration curve for the elements of interest in the specific acid
matrix using a blank and at least three standards. For Mercury (Hg), use 0.05,
