Characterization of Chlamydia Pneumoniae proteins and the construction of vaccine to Chlamydia Pneumoniae infections
Get 192 fusion Chlamydia Pneumoniae proteins. The proteins in this project include four groups:
* Chlamydia Pneumoniae predicted Inc proteins using software online;
* Chlamydia Pneumoniae specific proteins;
*Heat Shock Proteins of Chlamydia Pneumoniae;
*Proteins belong to Type Three Secretion System;
*Some other important proteins as controls such as MOMPs, CPAF, MinD et al.
Goals
*Identify immunodominant antigens using protein array;
We will use microplates arrayed with 192 Chlamydia pneumoniae fusion proteins to evaluate antibody response in several atherosclerosis and asthma patients. We hope we can identify which Chlamydia antigens are relatively immunodominant based on both the antibody recognition frequency and titer.
*Locallize the Chlamydia pneumoniae proteins using IFA;
We make antibodies with mice and use these antibodies to do IFA to make sure the localization of proteins in this project.
Overall, we hope that I can get one or two immunodominant proteins then we can draw the conclusion that these proteins are really important in the infection of Chlamydia pneumoniae to people.
