Abstract: Study advances on the Near-Infrared Reflectance Spectroscopy (NIRS) analysis technology and application present situation was summarized in this paper. For NIRS, there are many advantages: convenient, quickly, timely, non-destructiveness, multi-indexes measured in the same time, different types NIR apparatus were designed with different using. NIRS were used in the crop quality breeding and disease & insect resistance breeding, the screening work would be reduced in the separate generation, breeding effectiveness would be increased.
