　　澳大利亚政府于2010年3月2日发布公告，宣布从通知发布日起18个月内，暂时禁止在某些玩具、儿童护理品和用餐容器和餐具中使用浓度超过1%的邻苯二甲酸二-2-乙基己酯(DEHP).

　　挑战：

　　通知公告，为年龄在36个月或以下的儿童使用，并可预知可能被儿童吸吮和/或咀嚼的玩具、儿童护理品、喂养用的容器和餐具，如果含有浓度超过1%的邻苯二甲酸(2-乙基已基)(DEHP)，则为不安全产品。

　　豁免：

　　1. 衣服和鞋;

　　2. 运动产品;

　　3. 协助儿童在受看护情況下在水中漂浮或游泳的漂浮辅助用品和漂浮玩具;以及

　　4. 二手商品。

　　“儿童护理产品”包括，但不限于橡皮奶嘴、长牙时咬的橡皮环、婴儿床上配有的塑胶环, 摇铃、口水兜、环形牙胶和抚慰品。"

　　“用餐器皿”包括但不限于喂食用的瓶子，吮吸用的杯子、碗、碟子和餐具。

　　Australia Temporary Ban on Certain Toys and Children's Products Containing DEHP

　　Australian Government has issued a Notice on 2 Mar 2010 to impose a temporary ban of 18 months on certain toys, childcare articles, eating vessels and utensils containing more than 1% diethylhexyl phthalate (DEHP). This interim ban came into effect immediately after the date of publication.

　　The Challenge:

　　According to the Notice, toys, childcare articles, eating vessels and utensils containing more than 1% diethylhexyl phthalate (DEHP) intended for use by children up to and including 36 months of age that can be foreseeable to be sucked and/or chewed are declared to be unsafe goods.

　　Exemptions:

　　1. Clothing and footwear;

　　2. Sporting goods;

　　3. Floatation aids and aquatic toys for the specific purpose of assisting a supervised child to float or swim in water; and

　　4. Second hand goods.

　　"Childcare articles" including, but not limited to, dummies, pacifiers, teething rings, teething rails, rattles, bibs, gum soothers, and comforting objects.

　　"Eating vessels and utensils" including, but not limited to, feeding bottles, sip/sucking cups, bowls, plates, and cutlery.
